What is Fresh Stop at 4UMC?

• a gathering place for the community surrounding Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church (4UMC)
• a place to buy affordable, local, fresh produce from local farmers every week
• a place to share healthy and delicious food recipes and ideas

How?

• Be sure to get a Fresh Stop brochure in the 4UMC officeand fill out the sign-up form today!
• Fresh, local food is delivered weekly at 10:00 am to the Fresh Stop at 4UMC so everyone can pick up their order and share in the health!
• Food boxes, or shares, are offered in ONE size this year and have flexible pricing so everyone can afford to enjoy fresh, local food
• One share (enough for 1-2 people): $12/wk ($6 limited income)
• We will be able to accept cash, checks, money orders, KY EBT/Food Stamps!
• Full season shares can be purchased by paying upfront for all 20 weeks
• Week-to-week orders and pre-payment can be given to a Fresh Stop coordinator by the Sunday before pick-up

When?

• Fresh Stop will run during the growing season when farmers are harvesting their crops
• Food shares will be available June 6th through September 26, 2012
• Shares will be available for pickup every Wednesday from 5-7pm in the garden of 4UMC
